She is massively strong, with state of the art grid construction throughout, a solid glass hull, deck joined to hull by a double flange system, and internal lead ballast encapsulated in the keel cavity. She is a moderate displacement yacht, fast, stable, and easy to handle.

Main salon
From your first view of the main salon, you know the Offshore 40 is built for family comfort.  L-shaped settee to starboard and straight settee to port Beige ultra suede upholstery.  Storage behind and beneath both settees. Shelving and cabinetry above and outboard of settees.  Large centerline drop-leaf dining table that lowers to cocktail table height and can be used to convert starboard settee to double berth. Fitted with large center drawer for bottle storage.

Aft of the starboard salon settee and forward of the walk-through to the aft cabin is the galley with an extremely large and pleasant work area. There is generous counter space and storage including rattan cane-front sliding storage cabinets above and outboard, rattan cane-front cabinets beneath sink, three drawers below counter, pantry cabinet with shelves, and across the aisle from the stove is a pull out garbage bin.
